So I get to drive it to work. I really like this transmission.

I think it’d destroy Forest in a drag race on smooth dry pavement. It is not fun to drive down my dirt road.

I had a rental one of these, the only issue I had with the transmission was it always wanted to be in the highest gear possible. It made merging on some short NY interstate ramps somewhat scary.

Putting it in sports solved this for me and it also makes the steering feel much better.

Sports mode for me also always held the gear. P utting it into manual mode cause me to throw it in neutral as I put the imaginary clutch in and tried to shift to third because manual mode is right where second gear should be. I did it a could times because it felt so natural to just shift to third.

i really don’t have an issue, i was essentially making fun of that fact that someone could like an auto transmission on a mostly “save the manuals” site is all. and just as you didn’t get it with my comment, i don’t see which words in the songs are directed at my comment, though it seems negatively implied
